Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is DUPOMA Co., Ltd, 974 Láng Street, Láng Ward, Hà Nội, Việt Nam (telephone +84 889 99 69 22, email [email protected]), which operates LangSoul. Write to us at the same address about anything on this page.
What we keep, and why
When you acquire a work we keep your name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number (if you give it), the works ordered and the payment status — to fulfil the order and send the works (the contract), and to keep the accounting records the law requires. The provenance record of a work names the collector it travelled to by first name, initial and city.
When you write to us about a commission or anything else, we keep the letter and your reply address to answer it.
When you subscribe to the letter from the villages, we keep your email address, with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
When you visit, our servers and our network provider keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, pages requested) to keep the site secure.
Cookies
We set only the cookies the shop needs to work: a session cookie and a cart cookie when you place a work in your bag. Customer accounts are not used; you buy as a guest. We use no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics. Our network provider may set a security cookie to tell people from automated traffic.
Who sees your details
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We pass only what each needs to: the courier that carries your crate (name, address, phone); PayPal, if you pay by card or PayPal, which processes the payment on its own systems; Cloudflare, which carries and protects traffic to this site; and our email provider, which delivers our letters.
Where your data is
LangSoul is run from Việt Nam, so your details are processed in Việt Nam and by the providers above, some of which are in the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on the providers’ standard contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires. Commission letters are kept for three years after the last exchange unless a commission follows. Your newsletter address is deleted when you unsubscribe. Provenance records last as long as the work does; if a work changes hands and you would like your name replaced by an initial, tell us.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable form, and you may withdraw consent at any time. If you live in the EU, EEA or UK you may also complain to your data protection authority. If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have the right to know what we hold and to have it deleted; we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights. Write to [email protected]; we answer within one month.
Children
This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
Changes
If we change how we use personal data, we will update this page and, where it matters, write to you.
