Who you are buying from

Prices

Prices are shown in US dollars and include crating, insured shipping and import duties and taxes to the countries listed on the shipping page (delivered duty paid). Nothing is collected at the door. For countries not listed, we quote before the order is confirmed.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy; the contract is made when we confirm your order by email. Unique works are reserved for you from the moment you place the order; if a bank transfer does not arrive within seven days we release the work. We will write to you at every stage: when the artisans are told, when the crate closes, when it leaves Hà Nội.

Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Card and PayPal payments are handled by PayPal; we never see your card number. Bank transfers go to the company account of DUPOMA Co., Ltd.

Delivery

Works leave Hà Nội within the number of days shown on each work, insured door to door in our name until they are in your hands. Transit times on the shipping page are estimates from the courier.

Returns

You may return a work within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the price paid. We arrange collection in the same crate. Commissions and works altered to a request cannot be returned. Damage in transit is our responsibility; write within 48 hours with photographs. Buyers in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland also have the statutory right of withdrawal described in the legal notice; our 30-day return is longer and covers it.

Handmade work

Each work is made by hand. Variations of colour, glaze, grain and weave between an image on this site and the work, or between pieces of an edition, are part of the work; ask us for current photographs of any work before you order. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Commissions

Half of the agreed price is paid to begin and goes to the artisan the same week; the balance is paid before the crate closes. Each stage is approved before the next.

Repairs

We repair what we sell. The artisan’s time is on us for the first five years; you pay the shipping.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Việt Nam. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
