Filigree drop earrings
Kim hoàn — goldsmithing; here silver filigree built thread by thread and hung on a hand-made hook.

Đinh Văn Hùng
A lotus bud built in silver thread, the way Định Công has built things since the sixth century: wire drawn finer than a hair, twisted and flattened, laid inside a frame and soldered with a mouth-blown flame, the joins set with silver beans.
They weigh almost nothing. That is the point of filigree.
