Low stool, carved ironwood
Gỗ lim — ironwood; a stool in the form of the ones in the communal houses, joined without a nail.

Đồng Kỵ workshop
The low stool of the northern communal house — the one elders sat on at the feast — in ironwood dried two years, the legs tenoned through the top and wedged, the apron carved with a cloud scroll that follows the grain.
For beside a bed, under a window, next to a bath. It will outlast the room.
