01 — The maker
Three brothers, one timber yard
Their father carved doors and beams for the communal houses of Bắc Ninh; when that work ended he turned to furniture and taught his sons. The workshop has stayed small by choice while the village around it grew into an industry.
The timber yard is the heart of it: ironwood and rosewood stacked under cover for two or three years before a chisel touches them. The joinery is mortise, tenon and wedge; a table can be knocked apart and rebuilt. The carving follows the grain. The finish is oil and wax, so the wood keeps moving with the seasons.

03 — Commission
The workshop takes furniture commissions
A table to a room, a cabinet to a wall, a set of boxes. Tell us the dimensions and the timber you like and we will carry the conversation to the yard. Three to six months from timber to crate; furniture travels by sea.
A letter from Đồng Kỵ
“The top is cut from one board, as you asked. It is in the yard now, getting used to being flat.”
